IPL Match 4 : Shami's 3 for 25 followed by Tewatia's 24 balls 40* runs led Gujarat to knees down Lucknow by 5 wkts
IPLT20 2022 Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants Match 4 played on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Putting into bat first by Gujarat, Lucknow colud not made batter start and after losing skipper KL Rahul on very first balls were 29/4 in 4.3 overs. Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni played wonderful innings and set good defending target of 159 runs for Gujarat to get. Hooda made 55 runs and Ayush made 54 runs for Lucknow. Mhd Shami bowled well and took 3 wickets for Gujarat as well.
Following 159 runs, Gujarat Titans with HH Pandya's 33, David Miller's 30, Matthew Wade's 30 and Rahul Tewatia's unbeaten 24 balls quick 40 runs registered superb win by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining. Abhinav Manohar also played good cameo of 7 balls 15* runs in the end. Mhd Shami declared man of the match for his important 3 wickets.
