IPL Final Match : Rasikh's 3 for 27 followed by Virat's 42 balls 75* runs helps Bangaluru to upset Gujarat by 5 wkts and won 2nd consecutive title
1st Qualifier Match of IPLT20 2026 between Royal Challengers Bangaluru vs Gujarat Titans will be played on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad at 7:00 pm.
Puting into bat first by Bengaluru, Gujarat managed to set 156 runs target for Bengaluru to get. Washington Sundar with 37 balls 50 unbeaten runs was top scorer for Gujarat. Rasikh Salam bowled well and took 3 wickets of 27 runs. B Kumar and Josh Hazlewood shared 2 wickets each for RCB as well.
Following 156 runs, Bengaluru got firing start initially and smashed 62 runs just in 4.3 overs before Venkatesh got out scoring quick 16 balls 32 runs. Virat Kohli took the charge in hand and smashed 42 balls unbeaten 75 runs and presented RCB 2nd consecutive title win by 5 wickets margin with 12 balls remaining. Virat declared played of the match for his 75 unbeaten runs. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi awarded with Orange cap for his 776 runs and Kagiso Raada awarded with Purple cap for his 29 wickets in IPL 2026 edition.
