Match 33 : Mukesh Choudhary's 3 for & MS Dhoni's in style 17 runs in last overs powered Chennai to upset Mumbai by 3 wkts

IPLT20 2022 Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings Match 33 played on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.

Putting into bat first by Chennai, Mumbai both opening batsmen RG Sharma and Ishan Kishan for a ducks. Brevis also made his way dcoring just 4 runs and Mumbai were in deep trouble with 3/23 i 3 overs. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma took the charge in hand and played some good cricket initially. Suryakumar left the field scoring 32 runs. Tilak Varme played till 20th overs and contributed well 51 unbeate runs and Mumbai set defending target of 156 runs for Chennai to get. Mukesh Choudhary bowled well and took 1st three wickets. DJ Bravo also took 2 wickets for CSK as well.

Following 156 runs, Chennai lost Ruturaj on very 1st ball of inning. Robin Uthappa with 30 runs and Ambati Rayudu with 40 runs played good cricket in middle overs. Dwaine Pretorius also played good quick inning of 14 balls 22 runs but, MS Dhoni finish the match in style and smashed last ball needed four and presented wonderful tight finished win by 3 wickets. He smashed 13 balls 28 unbeaten runs. Mukesh Choudhary declared man of the match for his 3 wkckets.
