Match 48 : Rabada's four for followed by Dhawan, Rajpaksa and Livingstone's superb batting led Punjab to upset Gujarat by 8 wkts
IPLT20 2022 Gujarat Titans Ahmedabad vs Punjab Kings Match 48 played on Tuesday, May 03, 2022 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.
Opting to bat first, Gujarat Titans.with poor batting performances managed to set small target of 144 runs for Punjab to get. Sai Sudharsan the only batsman played good inning of 64 unbeaten runs for Gujarat. Kagiso Rabada bowled well and took four wickets spending 33 runs.
Following small target, Punjab with Dhawan's 62 runs, Bhanuka Rajapaksa's 40 runs and Liam Livingstone's 10 balls 30 unbeaten runs made chase easily in 16 overs and won by 8 wickets. K Rabada declared man of the match for his 4 wickets.
