Match 27 : KD Karthik & Maxwell's quick fifties followed by Hazlewood's 3 for led Bangalore to upset Delhi by 16 runs

IPLT20 2022 Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Match 27 played on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Putting into bat first by Delhi, Bangalore with Glenn Maxwell's 55 runs, Shahbaz Ahmed's 21 balls 32 unbeaten runs and KD Karthik's wonderful 34 balls 66 unbeaten runs inning managed to set huge target of 190 runs for Delhi to get.

Following 190 runs, Delhi got good start with DA Warner and PP Shaw initially. PP Shaw got out scoring 16 runs but, DA Warner played good quick inning of 34 balls 66 runs. Rishabh Pant also played quick inning of 17 balls 34 runs but, Delhi managed to score 173 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 16 runs. Jos Hazlewood bowled well and took 3 wkts of 28 runs. KD Karthik declared man of the match for his 66* runs.
