Match 55 : Devon Conway's 87 runs followed by Moeen's 3 for 13 runs powered Chennai to upset Delhi by huge 91 runs

IPLT20 2022 Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capitals Match 55 will be layed on Sunday, May 08, 2022 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.

Putting into bat first by Delhi, Chennai got firing start with Ruturaj and Conway initially. Both added 110 runs in 11 overs before Ruturaj got out scoring 41 runs. Devon Conway bated well and smashed his 3rd concecutive fifty with quick batting. He made 87 runs of 49 balls before left the field. Shivam Dube also played good small 19 balls 32 runs in middle overs. In later oves MS Dhoni played quick cameo of 8 balls 21 unbeaten runs and helps Chennai to set huge traget of 209 runs for Delhi to get. Anrich Nortje took 3 wickets and Khaleel Ahmed took 2 wickets for Delhi.

Following huge target of 209 runs, Delhi batting collapsed badly and managed to score 117 runs in 17.4 overs. Mitchell Marsh with 25 runs were top scorers for Delhi. Moeen Ali bowled very well and took 3 wickets of just 13 runs. Mukesh, Simarjeet and Bravo also took 2 wickets each for CSK. Chennai registered comprehensive win by huge margins of 91 runs. Devon Conway declared man of the match for his 87 runs.
