Match 59 : Shubman & Sai Sudarshan's centuries with record 210 runs 1st wkts stand led Gujarat to upset Chennai by 35 runs

Putting into bat first by Chennai, Gujarat with Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill's record 1st wickets partnership of 210 runs set huge target of 232 runs for CSK to get. Shubman Gill smashed 104 runs of 55 balls and Sai Sudharsan smashed 51 balls 103 runs for Gujarat.
Following huge target of 232 runs, Chennai managed to score 196/8 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 35 runs margin. Daryl Mitchell with 34 balls 63 runs, Moeen Ali with 36 balls 56 runs and MS Dhoni's 11 balls 26 runs were highlights of CSK inning. Mohit Sharma bowled well and took 3 wickets of 31 runs.
