Putting into bat first, Gujarat with Jos Buttler's quick 27 balls 52, Washington Sundar's 32 balls 55 and Shubman Gill's 45 balls 70 runs set huge target of 211 runs for Delhi to get. Mukesh Kumar was expensive but took wickets of 55 runs.
Following huge target of 211 runs, Delhi with Pathum Nissanka's 24 balls 41, KL Rahul's superb 52 balls 92 and David Miller's 20 balls quick 41* runs played well but managed to score 209/8 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by just 1 run. Rashid Khan bowled tight spell of 4-0-17-3 and declared man of the match for his match winning spell.
