Match 32 : GJ Maxwell & Faf du Plessis' fifties & Harshal Patel's 3 for led Bangalore to knees down Rajasthan by 7 runs
IPLT20 2023 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals match played on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
Putting into bat first by Rajasthan, Bangalore most batsmen faild to bat well but, Faf du Plessis 39 balls 62 runs and Glenn Maxwell 44 balls 77 runs played wonderful cricket and managed to set good target of 190 runs for Rajasthan to get. Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma took 2 wickets each for Rajasthan as well.
Following huge target of 190 runs, Rajasthan with Yashasvi Jaiswal's 47 runs, Devdutt Padikkal's 52 runs and Dhruv Jurel's unbeaten 16 balls 34 runs tried best but managed to score 182 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 7 runs. Harshal Patel bowled well for RCB and took 3 wickets. GJ Maxwel declared man of the match for his quick 44 balls 77 runs.
