Putting into bat first by Bangalore, Kolkata with wonderful batting performances set huge target of 201 runs for Bangalore to get. Jason Roy's 29 balls 56 runs and Nitish Rana's 21 balls 48 runs were highlights of KKR inning. Hasaranga de Silva and Vijaykumar Vyshak took 2 wickets each for RCB as well.
Following huge target of 201 runs, Bangalore managed to score 179 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 21 runs. Virat Kohli with 54 runs and Mahipal Lomror with 18 balls 34 runs were top scorers for RCB. Varun Chakravarthy with 3 wickets and Suyash Sharma & Andre Russell with 2 wickets each were top bowlers for KKR as well. Varun Chakravarthy declared man of the match for his 3 wickets.
