Putting into bat first by Gujarat, Punjab with Liam Livingstone's firing 27 balls 64 runs (four sixes and seven fours), Jitesh Sharma's 11 balls 23 runs and Rahul Chahar's 14 balls 22 runs managed to set huge target of 190 runs for Gujarat to get. Rashid Khan bowled well and took 3 wickets of 22 runs in his four overs.
Following huge target of 190 runs, Gujarat lost MS Wade early scoring just 6 runs. Shubman and Surdharsan played wonderful cricket and added 101 runs for 2nd wicket. Sai Sudharsan made 35 runs but Shubman Gill played wonderful inning of 59 balls 96 runs with 11 fantastic fours and one six. In later overs Hardik played good quick inning of 18 balls 27 runs and Rahul Tewatia hitz 2 sixes in last tow balls to presented superb win by 6 wickets. Shubman Gill declared man of the match.
