Match 63 : Trent Boult with 9 balls 17* runs & 2 for 18 powered Rajasthan to knees down Lucknow by 24 runs
IPLT20 2022 Lucknow Super Giants vs Rajasthan Royals Match 63 played on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
Opting to bat first, Rajasthan with Yashasvi Jaiswal's 29 balls 41, Sanju Samson's 32, Devdutt Padikkal's 16 balls 39 and Trent Boult's 9 balls 17* runs managed to set good defending target of 179 runs for Lucknow to get. Ravi Bishnoi took 2 wickets for LSG as well.
Following 179 runs, Lucknow lost top three wickets just in 29 runs. Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya took the charge in hand but Krunal lost his wickets scoring 25 runs. Deepak Hooda played well and made 59 runs. Marcus Stoinis also tried his best with 17 balls 27 runs but LSG managed to score 154 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 24 runs. Boult, MP Krishna and McCoy took 2 wkts each. Boult declaed man of the match foe his 17 runs and 2 wkts.
