Putting into bat first by Delhi, Gujarat Titans with Shubman Gill's superb 46 balls 84 runs and Hardik Pandya's 31 runs managed to set good defending target of 172 runs for Delhi to get. Mustafizur Rahman bowled well for Delhi and took 3 wickets of 23 runs.

Following 172 runs, Delhi lost opening pair early. RR Pant played good inning of 43 runs with Lalit Yadav's 25 runs. Delhiother middle and lower orders faild to bat well and managed to score 157 runs in 20 overs. Gujarat registered welcome win by 14 runs.
