Day-5

Incredible bowling performances followed by outstanding batting of AM Rahane & V Kohli powered India to win 4th test by huge margins of 337 runs and won the 4 test match series by 3-0. Earlier, South Arica fought very well and till tea time AB de Villiers played very special inning but, After tea time UT Yadav's sudden 3 wickets gave India hope and rest was done by R Ashwin by taking last wicket and helps India to win the match by 337 runs. AM Rahane daclared man of the match for his two 100s in 2 consecutive inning of the teat. R Ashwin daclared man of the series for his 31 wickets in the series.

Series - India won the 4-match series 3-0

Day-4

India with total 403 runs lead started innng on previous day score 190/4 in 2nd inning. V Kohli got out early adding just 5 runs of his previous day score 83 runs. He got lbw out of KJ Abbott scoring 88 runs. AM Rahane played splendid innng of 100* runs and succeeded to made 2nd century of the match with remarkable batting performance. India declared inning on 267/5 runs and gave South Africa 481 runs traget to achieved.

South Africa lost D Elgar early scoring just 4 runs. Skipper HM Amla joined with T Bavuma and played slow but sensible cricket. T Bavuma contributed very well 34 runs before bowled out by R Ashwin. Ashwin picked both 2 wickets today. At stump day 4, Africa were 72/2 with HM Amla 23* and AB de Villiers 11* still in middle and will resume tomorrow morning. India needed 8 wickets on day5 to win 4th and last test of series.

Day-3

India started 2nd inning with 213 runs lead over South Africa in 1st inning. India could not batter start and lost M Vijay (3) and RG Sharma (0) very early. CA Pujara and S Dhawan played good cricket initially and put some break on wicket falling. Both got out in quick successions scoring 28 and 21 runs respectively. Skipper V Kohli and AM Rahane took the charge in hand and played splendid cricket for India. Both played sensible cricket and contributed well. Both remained ont out till stump day-3 and contributed 83* and 52* runs respectively. M Morkel bowled well for Africa and picked up top orders 3 wickets in his bag. Imran Tahir took 1 wicket with tight bowling for South Africa.

India gain total lead of 403 runs with 6 wickets remaining in 2nd inning. AM Rahane 52 and Virat Kohli with 83 runs still not out at stump day-3.

Day-2

India resume play with 231/7 in morning. AM Rahane and R Ashwin played good cricket and contributed very useful runs for India. AM Rahane completed his maiden century in India and made 127 runs, R Ashwin also played good inning of 56 runs and put India on respactable totals of 334 runs in 1st inning.

South Africa open their inning with D Elgar and T Bavuma slowly and sensibly. But RA Jadeja came in bowling and troubled South Arican batsmen with his intelligent bowling. He managed to picked-up 5 wickets in his 12 overs spending just 30 runs. UT Yadav and R Ashwin also took 2 wickets each for India. Africa team all out scoring just 121 and trailed by 213 runs in the 1st innings India's score.

Day-1

4th Test match between India and South Africa started at Feroz shah Kotla, Delhi today. India won the toss and decided to bat first. On a turning pitch South African bowlers bowled well today. Spesifically, DL Piedt put India batsmen in huge trouble and succeded to picked-up 4 important wickets. KJ Abbott also bowled well and picked-up 3 wickets for South Africa. India made 231/7 at stump day-1. AM Rahane played sensible cricket and contributed well 89* runs followed by V Kohli's well 44 runs. India will resume play with 231/7 tomorrow morning.
