4th T20i : Tim Seifert's 36 balls 62 runs followed by MJ Santner's 3 for 26 led New Zealand to upset India by huge 50 runs
4th T20i match of five twenty20 match series between India vs New Zealand at ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
Putting into bat first by India, New Zealand got firing start ans snashed 100 runs just in 8.1 overs. Conway played well and made 23 balls quick 44 runs. Tim Seifert played super quick inning of 36 balls 62 runs. Daryl Mitchell's unbeaten 18 balls 39 runs helps New Zealand to set huge target of 216 runs for India to get. Arshdeep and Kuldeep shared 2 wickets each for India.
Following huge target of 216 runs, India lost Abhishek on very first ball of inning. Suryakumar also made his way early scoring just 8 runs. Samson got good start but lost wickets scoring 15 balls 24 runs. Rinku Singh with 39 runs and Shivam Dube with 23 balls firing 65 runs tried level best but other batsmen failed to bat well and India all out scoring 165 runs in 18.4 overs and lost the match by 50 runs margin. Santner bowled well and took 3 wickets. Tim Seifert declared man of the match for his quick 62 runs.
