IPL Match-36 : Markram & Badoni's fifties followed by Avesh Khan's 3 wickets led LSG to upset RR by 2 runs in last ball finished match
36th Match of IPLT20 2025 between Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants played on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur at 7:00 pm.
Opting to bat first, Lucknow with Aiden Markram's 45 balls 66 runs, Ayush Badoni's 34 balls 50 runs and Abdul Samad's 10 balls unbeaten 30 runs cameo score 180/5 runs in 20 overs. Wanindu Hasaranga woth 2 for 31 runs was top bowler for Rajasthan.
Following 181 runs target, Rajasthan got good start with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi initially. Both added 85 runs for 1s wicket before Vaibhav Suryavanshi got out scoring quick 20 balls 34 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal also played well and made 74 runs of 52 balls. Riyan Parag contributed well 39 runs but Rajasthan managed to score 178/5 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by just 2 runs in tight finished match. Avesh Khan took 3 wickets with superb bowling. Her declaed man of the match.
