IPL Match-42 : Kohli and Padikkal's quick fifties followed by Josh Hazlewood's 4 for 33 led RCB to upset RR by 11 runs
42nd Match of IPLT20 2025 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Rajasthan Royals played on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru at 7:00 pm.
Putting into bat first by Rajasthan, Bengaluru with Virat Kohli's 42 balls 70 runs and Devdutt Padikkal's quick 27 balls 50 runs set huge target of 206 runs for RR to get.
Following 206 runs target, Rajasthan got superb start with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Both added 52 runs in 4.2 oversbefore Vaibhav Suryavanshi got out scoring 16 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal also played good inning of 19 balls 49 runs. Dhruv Jurel also played good inning of 47 runs but Rajasthan managed to score 194/9 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 11 runs. Josh Hazlewood bowled well and took 4 wickets of 33 runs. He declared man of the match.
