IPL Match-34 : Tim David's quick 50 were not enough as low scoring & rain-hit match ended in favor of PBKS who defeted RCB by 5 wkts
34th Match of IPLT20 2025 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Punjab Kings played on Friday, April 18, 2025 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru at 7:00 pm.
Putting into bat first by Punjab in rain delayed 14 overs match, Bengaluru with very poor batting performances managed to score 95 runs in 14 overs (D/L). Only Tim David played well and made quick 26 balls unbeaten 50 runs for RCB. Arshdeep, Jansen, Chahal and Brar shared 2 wickets each with tight bowling for PBKS.
Following small target of 96 runs, PBKS with sensile batting made chase in 12.1 overs and won the match by 5 wickets with 11 balls remaining. Nehal Wadhera played well and contributed well 19 balls unbeaten 33 runs. Josh Hazlewood bowled well for RCB and took 3 wickets of 14 runs in his 3 overs. Tim David (RCB) declared man of the match for his quick 26 balls 50* runs.
