IPL Qualifier-1 : Suyash Sharma & Hazlewood's 3 wkts each powered RCB to finished PBKS on 101 runs win by huge 8 wickets
Qualifier Match-1 of IPLT20 2025 between Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru played on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at PCA New Stadium, New Chandigarh at 7:00 pm.
Putting into bat first by Bengaluru, Punjab team collepsed against RCB quality bowling and l\all out scoring just 101 runs in 14.1 overs. Marcus Stoinis with 26 runs was top scorer for PBKS. Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma claimed 3 wickets each. Yash Dayal also took 2 wickets for RCB.
Following small target of 102 runs, Bangaluru with top orders sensible batting made chase successfully in 10 overs and won the match comprehensively by 8 wickets margin with 60 balls remaining. Phil Salt smashed 27 bals 56 unbeaten runs. Surash Sharma declared man of the match for his important 3 wickets of 17 runs. RCB qualify for Final and PBKS to play qualifier-2.
