IPL Match-45 : Rickelton & Suryakumar's fifties followed by Bumrah & Boult's superb bowling led MI to knees down LSG by 54 runs
45th Match of IPLT20 2025 between Mumbai Indians vs Lucknow Super Giants played on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai at 3:00 pm.
Putting into bat first by Licknow, Mumbai with wonderful bsatting performances set uge target of 216 runs for LSG to get. Ryan Rickelton with 32 balls 58 runs, Suryakumar Yadav's 28 bals 54 runs and Naman Dhir's 11 balls firing 25* runs innings were highlights of MI inning. Mayank Yadav and Avesh Khan shared 2 wickets each for LSG as well.
Following huge target of 216 runs, Lucknow team managed to score 161 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 54 runs. Ayush Badoni with 35 runs and Mitchell Marsh with 34 runs were top scorers for LSG. Jasprit Bumrah bowled well and took 4 wickets of 22 runs. TA Boult also took 3 wickets of 20 runs. Will Jacks took 2 important wickets and he declared man of the match.
