IPL Match-39 : Shubman Gill & Sai Sudarshan's fifties followed by superb bowling led GT to knees down KKR by huge 39 runs
39th Match of IPLT20 2025 between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Gujarat Titans played on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata at 7:00 pm.
Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Gujarat with opening batsmen's 114 runs stand managed to set 199 runs for Kolkata to get. Sai Sudharsan made 36 balls 52 runs, Shubman Gill played good quick inning of 55 balls 90 runs. Jos Buttler also played firing inning of 23 balls 41 unbeaten runs for GT.
Following 199 runs target, Kolkata with very slow batting performances managed to score 159/8 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 39 runs. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane with 36 balls 50 runs was top scorer for KKR. Angkrish Raghuvanshi played 13 balls 27* runs inning in last few balls but not enough to chase huge 199 runs. Shubman Gill declared man of the match for his 90 runs.
