Opting to bat first, Kolkata with Nitish Rana's 42 runs and Rinku Singh's 46 runs managed to set good target of 172 runs for Hyderabad to get. Marco Jansen and T Natarajan took 2 wickets each for Hyderabad as well.
Following target of 172 runs, Hyderabad failed to get batter start and at one stage 54/4 in 6.2 overs.
