Match 26 : MP Stoinis' 21 runs and 2 wkts & Avesh Khan's 3 for led Lucknow to upset Rajasthan defending small target and won by 10 runs
IPLT20 2023 Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants match played on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Putting into bat first by Rajasthan, Lucknow with slo batting performances managed to set 155 runs target for Rajasthan to get. Kyle Mayers with 51 runs was top bastman for LSG. R Ashwin bowled well and took 2 wickets for Rajasthan.
Following small target of 155 runs, Rajasthan opening batsmen : Yashasvi Jaiswal 44 runs of 35 balls and Jos Buttler 40 runs of 41 balls gave wonderful start, but other batemen faild to bat well and team managed to score 144 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 10 runs. Marcus Stoinis with 2 wkts and Avesh Khan with 3 wkts were top bowlers for Lucknow. Marcus Stoinis declared man of the match for his 21 runs and 2 wickets.
