Match 30 : Hardik's 66 followed by MM Sharma & Noor Ahmed's 2 for led Gujarat to defend 136 runs and upset Lucknow by 7 runs
IPLT20 2023 Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans match played on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Shree Atal Bihari Vajpai Stadium, Lucknow.
Opting to bat first, Gujarat with very slow batting performances managed to set small target of 136 runs for Lucknow to get. Wriddhiman Saha with 37 balls 47 runs and Hardik Pandya with 50 balls 66 runs were top scorer for Gujarat. Krunal Pandya and Marcus Stoinis took 2 wickets each for Lucknow as well.
Following small taget of 136 runs, Lucknow also played slow cricket and managed to score just 128 runs having lost 7 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 7 runs. KL Rahul with 68 runs was top scorer for Lucknow. Noor Ahmad and Mohit Sharma took 2 wickets for Gujarat. Mohit Sharma declared man of the match for his tight last over and picked up 2 wickets.
