Match 59 : Prabhsimran Singh's 103 runs followed by Brar's 4 for 30 powered Punjab to knocked out Delhi by 31 runs
IPLT20 2023 Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings match played on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Shree Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
Putting into bat first by Delhi, Punjab with Prabhsimran Singh's wonderful batting and maiden century 103 runs of 65 balls managed to set good target of 168 runs for Dlehi to get. Ishant Sharma with 2 wickets was top bowler for Delhi.
Following 168 runs target, Delhi got good start with Warner and Phil Salt initially. Both added 69 runs in 6.2 overs before Phil Salt got out scoring 21 runs. Waner also played qiuck inning of 27 balls 54 runs before left the field. Other middle and lower order batsmen faild to bat well and Delhi managed to score 136/8 runs in 20 overs. Punjab registered much needed win by 31 runs and knocked out Delhi from play-offs rece. Harpreet Brar bowled well and took 4 wkts of 30 runs. Prabhsimran Singh declared man of the match for his maiden century with 103 runs.
