Putting into bat first by Punjab, Kolkata with Venktesh Iyer's fantastic 49 balls 67 runs, Rahul Tripathi's 34 and Nitish Rana's 31 runs set good target of 166 runs for Punjab to get. Arshdeep Singh bowled well and took 3 wickets and Ravi Bishnoi picked up 2 wickets for PBKS as well. Following 166 runs, Punjab with Mayank Agrawal's 27 balls 40, KL Rahul's superb 55 balls 67 and Shahrukh Khan's firing 9 balls 22 runs made chase in 19.3 overs and won the much needed match by 5 wickets. KL Rahul declared man of the match.
