VIVO IPL 2017 season 10 9th encounter between Rising Pune Supergiants v Delhi Daredevils at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on April 11, 2017 at 8:00 pm. SV Samsons' fluent hundred and CH Morris' 9 balls 38 runs powered Delhi to crushed Pune by huge margins of 97 runs. Pune team all out scoring just 108 runs in 16.1 overs. Sanju Samson declared man of the match for his 1st IPL hundred.
Rising Pune Supergiant won the toss and elected to field first. Putting into bat first by Pune, Delhi lost AP Tare for no score. SV Samson joined with SW Billings and took the charge in hand. He started quickly and got after Pune's bowlers as well. He smashed his fifty in 41 balls. He did not stoped there and smashed 1st IPL 2017 century in no-time. He completed his maiden 100 of IPL in just 62 balls with 8 fabulous fours and 5 massive sixes. In later overs CH Morris played super quick inning of 38 runs of just 9 balls and put Delhi on huge total of 205 runs at the end of 20 overs. This is 2nd highest total of this year IPL.
Following huge target of 206 runs, Pune Supergiants lost top five wickets just in 54 runs. MS Dhoni also depart on team score 79 runs and Pune lost all their hope. At last Pune managed to score 108 runs in 16.1 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 97 runs.
