Putting into bat first by Kolata, Bangalore's top orders batting failure continued and managed to score 158 runs in 20 overs with Tawish Head superb 75 of 47 balls. Kolkata in reply got firing start with CA Lynn and SP Narine and out played Bangalore by 6 wickets in 15.1 overs. SP Narine smashed IPL fastest fifty in 15 balls and took 2 important wicket so he daclared man of the match for his all round performance.
Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and put Bangalore into bat first. Bangalore once again failed to got good start and lost big man CH Gayle on very first ball of the match. V Kohli also went scoring 5 runs. AB de Villiers followed him scoring just 10 runs and RCB were in trouble. Mandep Singh with 52 runs and Tawish Head with quick 75 runs of 47 balls hepls Bangalore to put some good total of 158 runs in 20 overs.
Following target of 159 runs. Kolata got firing start with CA Lynn and SP Narine start from the first ball. SP Narine smashed fastest fifty of IPL all season of just 15 balls with 6 fours and 4 massive sixes. CA Lynn at other end also wnet after RCB strike bowlers well and he aosl smashed fifty just in 21 balls and put Kolkata on winning position as well. KKR chase the given target in 15.1 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.
