VIVO IPL 2017 2nd qualifier match between Mumbai Indians v Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on May 19, 2017 at 8:00 pm. Putting into bat first by Mumbai, Kolkata surrendered against Mumbai's excellent bowling attack and managed to put small total of 107 runs in very important match. KV Sharma 4 for 16 and JJ Bumrah 3 for 7 were star bowlers for Mumbai. Mumbai chased small target of 108 runs in 14.3 overs having lost 4 wkts and won by 6 wickets. KV Sharma declared man of the match for his excellent bowling with 4 for 16 runs.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field first. Putting into bat first by Mumbai, Kolkata lost CA Lynn early scoring just 4 runs. Pinch hitter SP Narine (10), skipper G Gambhir (12) and RV Uthappa (1) were three quick wickets put KKR in big trouble to put good total in very important match. At one stage Kolkata were 5/31 in 7 overs. IR Jaggii (28) and SA Yadav (31) played good cricket for Kolkata and helps to put srore on three figures to defend. KKR all out in 18.5 overs having score 107 runs.

Mumbai got target 108 runs to win in 120 balls. Having lost three wickets early, Mumbai got excellent batting stands with skipper RG Sharma and KH Pandya. Both played well and put Mumbai in winning position with sensible batting. RG Sharma made 26 runs and KH Pandya contributed well 45 runs of 30 balls to presented Mumbai very well win by 6 wickets with 33 balls remaining.
