Qualifier 8 : Alzarri Joseph 4 for 16 and Jeson Holder's 3 for 12 powered West Indies to knees down Zimbabwe by 31 runs

8th Qualifier match of ICC T20 worldcup 2022 played between West Indies vs Zimbabwe on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

Opting to bat first, West Indies god good start with Kyle Mayers and Johnson Charles intially. Johnson Charles played good inning of 45 runs. Other batsmen faild to bat well and West Indies manafed to set 154 runs target for Zimbabwe to get. Sikandar Raza bowld well and took 3 wickets of 19 runs.

Following 154 runs target, Zimbabwe got firing start initially. Wessly Madhevere played good inning of 19 balls 27 runs from the top. Other top and middle orders failed to bat well and Zimbabwe team all out scoring 122 runs and lost the match by 31 runs. Jason Holder took 3 wickets and Alzarri Joseph bowled wonderful spell of 4-0-16-4 with quality bowling. Alzarri Joseph declared man of the match.
