Qualifier 3 : George Munsey's 66 unbeaten runs & Mark Watt's 3 for led Scotland to upset West Indies by 42 runs
Qualifier 3 match of ICC T20 worldcup 2022 played between West Indies vs Scotland on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.
Putting into bat first by West Indies, Scotland with George Munsey's sensible 53 balls 66 unbeaten runs managed to set good defending target of 161 runs fir West Indies to get. Alzarri Joseph and Jason Holder took 2 wickets each for West Indies.
Following 161 vruns target, West Indies with poor batting perofrmances managed to score 118 runs in 18.3 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 42 runs. Jason Holder with 38 runs were top scorer for West Indies. Mark Watt bowled well and took 3 wickets spending just 12 runs. Brad Wheal and Michael Leask also took 2 wickets each. George Munsey declared man of the match for his 66 runs.
