Puting into bat first by USA, India's most batsmen failed to bat well but Suryakumar Yadav's 49 balls unbeaten 84 runs helps India to set good target of 162 runs for USA to get. Shadley van Schalkwyk bowled very well and picked up 4 wickets of 25 runs. Harmeet Singh also took 2 wickets of 26 runs for USA.
Following 162 runs, USA with Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Shubham Ranjane's 37 runs each and Milind Kumar's 34 runs fought hard but score 132/8 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 29 runs. Mohammed Siraj bowled well and took 3 wickets. Arshdeep and Axar shared 2 wickets each for India. Suryakumar Yadav declared man of the match for his 49 balls 84 unbeaten runs.
