Final Match : Kuldeep Yadav's 4 for 30 and Tilak Varma's 69* runs led India to upset Pakistan by 5 wickets and won T20 Asia Cup title 2025

Final match of Asia Cup T20 2025 between India vs Pakistan played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Puting into bat first by India, Pakistan got wonderful start with Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman initially. Both added 84 runs in 9.4 overs before Sahibzada got out scoring well 38 balls 57 runs. Fakhar Zaman also played good inning of 46 runs. Other Pakistani batsmen failed to bet well and Pakisan team all out scoring 146 runs. Kuldeep Yadav bowled well and took 4 wickets. Bumrah, Varun and Axar shared 2 wickets each for India as well.

Following 147 runs target, India lost 3 wickets early of just 20 runs in 4 overs. Tilak Varma and SV Samson took the charge in hand and played sensible cricket. Sanju Samson made 24 runs and next coming batsman Shivam Dube smashed 22 balls 33 runs. Tilak Varma remained not out till end and presented India very good win by 5 wickets scoring 53 balls 69* runs. Tilak hitz 4 sixes and 3 fours in his match winning inning. He declared man of the match. Abhishek Sharma declared player of the tournament for his 314 runs in 7 matches with 3 fifties.
