2nd ODI : Ishan Kishan's 93 & SS Iyer's wonderful 113* runs powered India to upset Africa by 7 wkts, 3-match series level 1-1

2nd oneday international match of ODI match series played between India vs South Africa at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi on Sunday, October 09, 2022.

Opting to bat first, South Africa with Reeza Hendricks's 74 runs and Aiden Markram's 79 runs managed to set good target of 279 runs for India to get in 50 overs. Mohammed Siraj bowled well and took 3 wickets of 38 runs in his 10 overs.

Following 278 runs target, India with Ishan Kishan and SS Iyer's 161 runs stand for 3rd wicket made chase easily in 45.5 overs having lost 3 wickets and won the match comprehensively by 7 wickets. Ishan played brave inning of 84 balls 93 runs with 7 massive sixes. Shreyas Iyer also played superb inning of 113 runs unbeaten runs for India. He declaed man of the match for his century. 3-match ODI level 1-1 as well.
