IPLT20 2023 Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings 1st qualifier match has been played on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Putting into bat first by Chennai, Gujarat with Wriddhiman Saha's 54 runs and Sai Sudharsan's superb 47 balls 96 runs with 8 fours and 6 massive sixes set huge target of 215 runs for Channai to get. Matheesha Pathirana took 2 wickets of 44 runs for Chennai as well.

Rain forced match to cut by overs and instead of 215 runs, Chennai got revised target of 171 runs in 15 overs. Chennai got good start with Ruturaj and Conway initially. Both added 74 runs in 6.3 overs before Ruturaj got out scoring 26 runs. Conway also followed him scoring well 23 balls 47 runs. Shivam Dube with unbeaten 32 runs, AM Rahane with 13 balls 27 runs, AT Rayudu with 8 balls 19 runs and RA Jadeja's last 2 balls 6 & 4 were highlights of CSK inning. Mohit Sharma took 3 wkts for Gujarat. Devon Conway declared man of the match for his 25 balls 47 runs. Chennai won IPL title for the 5th time.
