Match 12 : Moeen Ali, RA Jadeja and Sam Curran's wonderful bowling powered CSK to knees down RR by 45 runs

12th Match of the 14th season Indian Premier League 2021 played between Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai at 7:30 pm.

Putting into bat first by Rajasthan, Chennai with F du Plessis' 33, AT Rayudu's 27, MM Ali's 26 and DJ Bravo's 8 balls 20 runs managed to set good target of 189 runs for Rajasthan to get. Chetan Sakariya bowled well and took three wickets & CH Morris took two wickets for Rajasthan.

Following 189 runs target, Rajasthan made good start with Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra initially. Manan Vohra got out scoring 14 runs and SV Samson followed him scoring just 1 run and RR were in trouble. Jos Bullter played good inning of 35 balls 49 runs but other middle and lower orders failed to stood in middle against RA Jadeja and MM Ali's spin attack and lost wicket in regular interwals. Rajasthan managed to score 143 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 45 runs. Moeen Ali took three wickets and RA Jadeja took 2 wickets for CSK. MM Ali declared man of the match.
