1st one-day match of three ODI match series played between India and England at The Oval Cricket Ground, London on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Putting into bat first by India, England with very poor batting performances all out in 25.2 overs scoring just 110 runs. Jos Buttler with 30 runs were top scorer for England. Jasprit Bumrah bowled his career best spell and took 6 wickets of just 19 runs. Mohammed Shami also picked up 3 wickets for India.

Following small target of 111 runs, India with Rohit Sharma's 58 balls 76* runs and S Dhawan's 31* runs made chase easily in 18.4 overs and won the match comprehensively by huge margins of 10 wickets. JJ Bumrah declared man of the match for his magic spell 7.2-3-19-6. India led 3-match series 1-0 as well.
