2nd Test : Shreyas & Ashwin's sensible batting led India to win over Bangladesh by 3 wickets and seal series 2-0

2nd test match of t20i match series played between Bangladesh vs India at Sher-E-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Mirpur on Thursday, December 22 to 26, 2022.

Day-4

Resume batting on 45/4, India were in deep trouble with 74/7 as one stage. Shreyas Iyer and R Ashwin took the charge in hand and played sensible cricket. Both added 71 runs for 8th wickets and presented India 3 wickets win with very defensive approach. Shreyas made 29* runs and R Ashwin contributed well 42* runs. R Ashwin declared man of the match. Pujara declared man of the series. India won 2-match series 2-0.

Day-3

Resume batting on 7/0, Bangladesh team all out scoring 231 runs. Litton Das with 73 runs were top scorer for Bangladesh. India got 145 runs target to win. Batting in 2nd inning India were 45/4 at stumps Day-3. India's top 4 batsmen, KL Rahul, Shubman, Pujara and Kohli already got out. India still needs 100 runs to win with 6 wickets in hand. Mehidy Hasan Miraz got 3 wickets for Bangladesh as well.

Day-2

Resume batting on 19/0, India with Rishabh Pant's wonderful 93 runs and Shreyas Iyer's superb 87 runs managed to score 314 runs in 86.3 overs. India got led of 87 runs over Bangladesh 1st inning. Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam took 4 wickets each for Bangladesh. Bangladesh were 7/0 at stumps Day-2.

Day-1

Opting to bat first, Bangladesh most batsmen got good start but failed to stood in middle for long and lost wickets in regular interwals. Mominul Haque played good cricket for Bangladesh and contributed well 84 runs. Umesh Yadav and R Ashwin bowled well for India and took 4 wickets each as well. Jaydev Unadkat also picked up 2 wickets. India were 19/0 at stumps Day-1.
