3rd Test match of four Test match series will be played between India and England at Narendra Modi Stadium formerly known as Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad (D/N).

Resuming 1st day score 98/3, India team all out scoring 145 runs. Rohit Sharma with 66 runs were top scorer for India. Joe Root bowled superb spell of 6.2-3-8-5 or England. Jack Leach lead spinner of England also took four wickets for visitor team as well. Coming into 2nd inning England lost two wickets for duck of Axar Patel's very first over and England were in trouble. Tam England all out scoring just 81 runs in 30.4 overs. Axar Patel once again took five wickets and this is his back to back 3rd 5-wickets haul in last three innings. R Ashwin also bowled well and took four wickets. India got 49 runs target and chase easily in 7.4 overs without loosing any wicket and won the match comprehensively by huge margins of 10 wickets. Axar Patel declared man of the match for his 11 wickets in match. India led 4-match series 2-1 as well.

On very first day of 3rd Test, England won the toss and elected to bat first. Visitor team all out scoring just 112 runs. Axar Patel bowled very well and took six wickets and R Ashwin also took three wickets for India as well. Coming into bat, India were 98/2 with Rohit Sharma's fifty at stumps day-1.
