Day 5 - England knees down against Indian spin force on a turning track and lost the match by 246 runs

21st Nov 16

England resumed 5th day with 87/2 and all out scoring 158 runs in 97.3 overs before lunch and lost the match by huge margins of 246 runs. Indian spiners did well on turning track and forced English batsmen to knees down with excellent bowling performances. R Ashwin and Jayan Yadav picked up 3 wickets each. RA Jadeja and Mhd Shami also took 2 wickets each for India to crushed England. Virat Kohli declared man of the match for his superb batting with 167 and 81 runs in 2 innings. India led the 5-match series 1-0.

Day 4 - India needs 8 wkts and England require another 318 runs to win on day 5 at Vizag

20th Nov 16

India resumed 4th day with 98/3 and all out scoring 204 runs in 63.1 overs before lunch. Virat Kohli once again played good sensible inning of 81 runs for India. India already had lead of 200 runs of 1st inning over England, so target of 405 runs set by India to achive in one and half day for England. England started 2nd inning after lunch very defencively. Both opening batsmen skipper AN Cook and H Hameed played slow but extraordinery cricket in middle and bother Indian bowlers well. H Hameed shown his great temper who is playing just his 2nd test match. R Ashwin got him out but he already done his great job by facing 144 balls and made 25 runs. Skipper Cook also played very well but fall against RA Jadeja scoring superb 54 runs of 188 balls. England were 87/2 at stumps day 4 and require another 318 runs to win on day 5.

Day 3 - Ashwin's 22nd 5-wkts haul & Kohli's fluent 56* powered India to dominate with healthy lead of 298 runs

19th Nov 16

England resumed 3rd day with 103/5 and all out scoring 255 runs in 102.5 overs. BA Stokes and JM Bairstow played excellent cricket on a turning track against Indian class bowlers contributing well 70 and 53 runs before left the field. AU Rashid also played good inning of 32* runs but England team all out scoring 255 runs and trailed by 200 runs of India's 1st inning total 455 runs. India started with 200 runs lead of 1st inning but lost opening batsmen M Vijay 3 and KL Rahul 10 runs ealry. 1st inning century batsman CA Pujara also failed to stood in middle for long and lost his wicket scoring just 1 run. V Kohli and AM Rahane took the charge in hand and put break on wickets falling till end of the day. Both played excellent cricket scoring 56 and 22 runs respectively. Rahane's defensive and Kohli's aggrassive attituted gave India healthy lead of 298 runs with 7 wickets remaining at stumps day 3. India were 98/3 skipper V Kohli and Rahene are in middle to resume 4th day play tomorrow.

Day 2 - India on top with 455 and England still in trouble as 103/5 trail by 352 runs in 1st inngs

18th Nov 16

India resumed 2nd day with 317/4 and all out scoring 455 runs in 129.4 overs. Virat kohli played superb cricketl and contributed 167 runs.Lower orders R Ashwin 58 and Jayan Yadav also played good iiinig of 35 runs for India. JM Anderson and M Ali picked up 3 wickets each for England. England could not made batter start and lost big man AN Cook early scoring just 2 runs. Another opener H Hameed also left the field early scoring 13 runs. He was brilliently run out by WP Saha of J Yadavs accurate throw from the deep. JE Root played good cricket and contributed well 53 runs before left the field. Middle orders knees down against spiners and BM Duckett and MM Ali surrender contributing just 5 and 1 run. England were in deep trouble with 80/5 in 34.2 overs. BA Stokes and JM Bairstow struggle well against India spin attack in later overs of the day and England were 103/5 at stumps Day-2. England trail by 352 runs with 5 wickets remaining in the 1st innings.

Day 1 - Pujara and Kohli's hundreds with 226-run stand gave India tremendous control with 317/4 at Vizag

17th Nov 16

1st ever Test match at Visakhapatnam of 5 test series between India and England has been started today. Opting to bat first by Virat Kohli, India could not made batter start and lost both opening batsmen KL Rahul (0) and M Vijay (20). KL Rahaul is in for G Gambhir but failed to gave India batter start and lost the field without scoring. CA Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli came in middle and took the charge in hand for India as well. Both played fabulous cricket and smashed centuries with excellent batting performances. CA Pujara made 119 runs before got out. This is Pujara's consecutive 3rd hundred in last three test matches. Skipper Kohli also played wonderful cricket and still in middle scoring huge 151 runs at stumps day-1. India were 317/4 at stumps day-1. JM Anderson bowled well and picked up 3 wickets for England.
