25th match of ICC Worldcup 2015 has been played between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates at McLean Park, Napier today. UAE won the toss elected to field first. Pakistan put hug score of 339 runs for UAE after 50 overs. Ahmed Shehzad 93 runs and Haris Sohail 70 were top scorer for Pakistan. UAE maanged to score 210 runs in 50 overs and lost the match by 129 runs. Ahmed Shehzad (Pakistan) declared man of the match for his good inning of 93 runs.
Earlier, UAE won the toss and decided to field first and let Pakistan to set target. Pakistan putting into bat first, lost Nasir Jamshed early on team score 10 runs. But, Ahmed Shehzad and Haris Sohail took the charge in hand pand played superb cricket for Pakistan. Both added 160 runs for 2nd wicket partnership before Haris Sohail lost his wicket scoring 70 valuable runs for Pakistan. Ahmed Shehzad also contributed well 93 runs before he unfortunately got runs out. Other middle order batsmen kept the momentum on and played quick cricket with positive approaches. Sohaib Maqsood 45 runs, skipper Misbah-ul-Haq 65 runs and in later overs Shahid Afridi made 21 runs in just 7 balls and put Pakistan on 339 runs at the end of 50 overs.
Followinf huge target of 340 runs, UAE lost top 3 wickets just in 25 runs. Khurram Khan and Shaiman Anwar took charge in hand and played slow but sensitive cricket initially and kept wickets in hand. Both played well and contributed 43 and 62 runs respectively. UAE did not tried to win the match and decided to play full 50 overs. UAEmanaged to score 210 runs in 50 overs having lost 8 wickets and lost the match by huge margins of 129 runs.
