Opting to bat first, England with Jacob Bethell's 35 balls 55 runs, Harry Brook's 32 balls 53 runs and Will Jacks' firing 18 balls unbeaten 39 runs set huge target of 185 runs for Nepal to get. Dipendra Singh Airee and Nandan Yadav shared 2 wickets each for Nepal.
Following 185 runs target, Nepal fought hard but managed to score 180/6 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by very thin margin of 4 runs. Dipendra Singh Airee 44 runs, Rohit Paudel 39 runs and Lokesh Bam with 20 balls unbeaten 39 runs were top scorers for Nepal. Liam Dawson with 2 for 21 was top bowler for England. Will Jacks declared man of the match for his quick 39* runs and 1 wicket.
