15th Group Stage match of CLT20 2014 was played between Perth Scorchers vs Chennai Super Kings at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Chennai with all-round performances knees down Scorchers by 13 runs. RA Jadeja declared man of the match for his brave inning of 44 runs in 28 balls.
Earlier, Perth won the toss and elected to bowl first and let Chennai to set target. Chennai could not made batter start and lost top 3 wickets early scoring 33 runs in 5.3 overs. In later overs Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni played super quick innings and put 155 runs on board for Perth to achieved. MS Dhoni made quick 35 runs of just 16 balls with 4 massive sixes and RA Jadeja contributed unbeaten 44 runs of 28 balls.
Following target of 156 runs, PErth top order batsmen started sinsibly and steadely. But, A Nehra and R Ashwin bowled well and knees down top orders as well. Other batemen tried their best but they could not reached Chennai totals and ended innings in 142/7 in 20 overs. Chennai won match by 13 runs margiin.
