Asia Cup T20 2025 Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Super Four Stage match at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Putting into bat first, Sri Lanka with poor batting performances managed to set small target of 134 runs for Pakistan to get. Kamindu Mendis with 44 balls 50 runs was top scorer for Sri Lanka. Shaheen Afridi bowled well and took 3 wickets. Haris Rauf and Hussain Talat shared 2 wickets each for Pakistan as well.
Following small target of 134 runs, Pakistan top order batsmwn faile to bat well and at one point Pakistan were 80/5 in 11 overs. Hussain Talat with 32* runs and Mohammad Nawaz with 38* runs played match winning innings and powered Pakistan to win by 5 wickets with 12 balls remaining. Theekshana and Hasaranga shared 2 wickets each for Sri Lanka. Hussain Talat declared man of the match for his 2 wickets and 32* runs.
