5th Group Stage match of Asia Cup T20 2025 between Group B teams : Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Saturday, September 12, 2025.
Putting into bat first by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh lost top 5 wickets of just 53 runs. Jaker Ali with 41* runs and Shamim Hossain with 42* runs led Bangladesh to set defendable target of 140 runs for Sri Lanka to get. Wanindu Hasaranga bowled wel and claimed 2 wickets for Sri Lanka.
Following 140 runs, Sri Lanka with Prathum Nissanka's 34 balls 50 runs and Kamil Mishara's unbeaten 32 balls 46 runs made chase easily in 14.4 overs and won the match by 6 wickets margin. Mahedi Hasan bowled well for Bangladesh and took 2 wickets. Kamil Mishara declared man of the match for his useful 46* runs.
