11th Group Stage match of Asia Cup T20 2025 between Group B teams : Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
Opting to bat first, Afghanistan lower order batsmen Rashid Khan 24 runs and Mohammad Nabi's firing 22 balls 60 runs set good target of 170 runs for Sri Lanka to get. Nabi smashed 32 runs in last over. Nuwan Thushara bowled very well and picked up 4 wickets of just 18 runs.
Following 170 runs target, Sri Lanka with Kusal Mendis' 52 balls 74 unbeaten runs and Kamindu Mendis' 13 balls 26 unbeaten runs made chase easily in 18.4 overs and won the match by 6 wickets. Kusal Mendis declared man of the match for his match winning 74 unbeaten runs.
