Opting to bat first, Afghanistan with Sediqullah Atal's unbeaten 52 balls 73 runs, Mohammad Nabi's 33 runs and Azmatullah Omarzai firing 21 balls 53 runs set huge target of 189 runs for Hong Kong to get. Ayush Shukla and Kinchit Shah shared 2 wickets each for Hong Kong as well.
Following huge target of 189 runs, Hong Kong team managed to score 94 runs on 20 overs and lost thematch by huge margins of 94 runs. Babar Hayat with 39 runs was top scorer for Hong Kong.
