2nd twenty20 match of Cricket Asia Cup 2022 played between India vs Pakistan at Dubai Sports City Stadium, Dubai on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Putting into bat first by India, Pakistan lost Babar Azam early scoring just 10 runs. Fakhar Zaman also made his way scoring same 10 runs. Mohammad Rizwan bated slow but sensible cricket and score well 43 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed also played good quick inning of 22 balls 28 runs. In last over Shahnawaz Dahani smashed 6 balls 16 runs and helps Pakistan to set good defending target of 148 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled well and took 4 wickets of 26 runs. Hardik also picked up 3 wickets of 25 runs for India.

Following 148 runs target, India lost KL Rahul for a duck. Rohit also made his way scoring 12 runs. Virat Kohli 35 runs, Ravindra Jadeja's sensible 29 balls 35 runs and Hardik Pandya's 17 balls unbeaten 33 runs powered India to win the match by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining. Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets for Pakistan. Hardik declared man of the match for his 3 wkts and 33* runs.
