Putting into bat first by Hong Kong, India with RG Sharma's 21, KL Rahul's 36 runs got good start initlally. After that, Virat Kohli with 44 balls 59 unbeaten runs and Suryakumar Yadav's super quick 26 balls 68 unbeaten runs with 6 fours and 6 massive sixes India set huge target of 193 runs for Hong Kong to get.

Following huge target of 193 runs, Hong Kong team managed to score 152 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 40 runs. Babar Hayat 41, Kinchit Shah 30 and Zeeshan Ali 26* runs were top scorers for Hong Kong. Virat Kohli made 59* runs but Suryakumar Yadav declared man of the match for his quick 26 balls 68 unbeaten runs.
