Resume batting on 164/3, India team all out scoring 234 runs and lost the match by huge margins of 209 runs. Virat Kohli 49 runs and Ajinkya Rahane with 46 runs were top scores for India. Nathan Lyon with 4 wkts and Scott Boland with 3 wkts were top bowlers for Australia. Australia win World Test Championship 2023 as well. Travis Head declared man of the match for his 163 runs in 1st inning.

Day - 4 : Alex Carey's 66 runs & MA Starc's 41 runs led Australia to set huge 444 runs target for India to get, India are 164/3 & needs 280 runs more to win

Resume batting on 123/4, Australia with Alex Carey's 66 runs and Mitchell Starc's 41 runs score 270/8 runs and declared inning. India got 444 runs target to win the match. RA Jadeja with 3 wkts and Mhd Shami & UT Yadav with 2 wkts each were top bowlers for India. Batting in 2nd inning India are 164/3 at stumps. Virat Kohli with 44 runs and Ajinkya Rahane with 20 runs to resume 5th day play. India needs 280 runs to win.

Day - 3 : Rahane's 89, Jadeja's 48 & Thakur's 51 runs helps India to score 296 runs, Australia are 123/4 at stumps and lead by 296 runs

Resume batting on 151/5, India team all out scoring 296 runs in 69.4 overs. Rahane's 89 runs, Jadeja's 48 and Thakur's 51 runs were highlights of India inning. Pat Cummins took 3 wkts. MA Starc, Scott Boland and Cameron Green took 2 wkts each for Australia. Australia led by 173 runs over India's 1st inning score. Batting in 2nd inning Australia were 123/4 and lead by 296 runs as well. Labuschagne with 41 runs in middle. RA Jadeja took 2 wickets for India as well.

Day - 2 : Travis Head's 163 & SPD Smith's 121 runs led Australia to score 469 runs in 1st inning, India are 151/5 at stumps

Resume batting on 327/3, Australia team all out scoring 469 runs in 121.3 overs. Travis Head with 163 runs and SPD Smith with 121 runs were top scorers for Australia. Alex Carey also played good inning of 48 runs wit htail enders. Mhd Siraj with 4 wickets was top bowler for India. Mhd Shami and SN Thakur took 2 wkts each as well. India were 151/5 at stumps day-2.

Day - 1 : Travis Head's 146* & SPD Smith's 95* runs with 4th wickets 251* runs stand powered Australia to a 327/3 at stumps

Putting into bat first by India, Australia were 76/3 at one stage. SPD Smith and Travis Head took the charge in hand and played wonderful cricket for Australia. SPD with 95 runs and Travis Head with superb 146 unbeaten runs powered Australia to score 327/3 runs at stumps Day-1. Australia would look to a big score as Smith and Head are in middle to carry inning on Day-2 as well.
